Speak at a meeting

Tell us what you're working on

We love hearing from people doing good things on the West Shore and around the world. Join us for lunch and share your story with our members.

What we're looking for

Our guest speakers help members learn what's happening in our community and find new ways to get involved. Talks we especially enjoy include:

  • Local charities, non-profits and community groups, and the people they serve
  • Projects and events where our members can roll up their sleeves and help directly
  • Youth, schools, scholarships and young leaders
  • Community planning, health, the environment and what's new on the West Shore
  • Rotary and service projects from around the world
  • Interesting work, travel and life stories from our neighbours

Ways for our members to get involved hands-on are always welcome, not just requests for donations. If you're mainly looking for funding, you can also request support directly.

How it works

  • When: Most Fridays at 12:15 pm, at Cherish at Central Park, 100-917 Avrill Road, Langford, BC.
  • How long: presentations are usually 15 to 20 minutes, plus some time for questions.
  • Lunch: speakers are our guests for lunch.
  • Audience: a friendly group of members and guests from many walks of life.

Tell us a little about yourself and your topic using the form below, and our speaker coordinator will be in touch to find a date.
